Short Description

A Nuclear Medicine Technologist II ability to operate a PETCT and SPECT/CT unit under the guidelines of the State of NJ. Maintains additional licensure to perform CT portion of the Nuclear Medicine exam with either an X-ray license of a NJDEP Limited or a Fusion Imaging CT Technology license.

HIGH SCHOOL OR GED

Completion of clinical training through NM training program or college requirements

License/Certification Requirements

• ARRT or NMTCB
• NJDEP – Nuclear Medicine
• NJDEP Diagnostic Radiology or NJDEP Limited to Fusion Imaging CT Technology
• NJDEP Diagnostic Radiology or NJDEP Limited to Fusion Imaging CT Technology must be obtained within 6 months of hire
