Job summary

CommonSpirit Health in Bryan, TX is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Level I to perform in vitro/in vivo studies, mentor staff, and ensure safe radiopharmacy operations. The role emphasizes data validation before interpretation and education responsibilities.

Ideal candidates have 3 years of Nuclear Medicine experience, CNMT or RTN certification, and CPR-BLS. An Associate Degree is preferred, with opportunities to contribute to staff training and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• Medical Radiographer: TX (MRAD).
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) OR Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology (RTN).
• CPR-BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates mastery of all Nuc Med Tech I Accountabilities/Responsibilities and has completed a minimum of 1 year service in the Nuc Med Tech I position.
• Performs in‑vitro/in‑vivo studies as outlined in the nuclear medicine procedure manuals. Determines the validity of the data before submission for interpretation.
• Mentors new employees and students on the proper use of camera/computer systems and study procedures.
• Assists with the formal clinical/technical education process by preparing and presenting 2 staff in‑services per year on topical subjects.
• Independently performs all functions regarding the safe and compliant operation of the radiopharmacy and all associated documentation and educates staff on radiopharmacy procedures.

• Performs in‑vitro/in‑vivo studies as outlined in the nuclear medicine procedure manuals. Makes determinations of the validity of the data collected before submission for interpretation
• Mentors new employees and students on the proper use of the camera/computer systems, study procedures
• Assists with the formal clinical/technical education process of the department by preparing and presenting 2 staff in‑services per year on a topical subject
• Independently performs all Functions regarding the safe and compliant operation of the radiopharmacy and all associated documentation. Educates and mentors qualified staff on proper radio, pharmacy procedures

Job Requirements

Pay Range

$39.08 - $58.14 /hour
