Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care seeks a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, producing high-quality images for interpretation. You will operate cameras, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, ensure safety, and submit images to PACS.

The role requires accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to protocols in a day shift environment. Qualified candidates have a Nuclear Medicine Technology program and CNMT or ARRT-N certification within six months, plus BLS.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Certification as CNMT or ARRT-N within six months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA.

Responsibilities

• Operate cameras to detect and map radioactive drugs in patients' bodies.
• Position patients accurately and select appropriate technical factors.
• Prepare, administer, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals per protocols.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

• Maintaining equipment functionality, reporting issues, and ensuring a clean department.
• Working safely and performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Skills

• Completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Certification as CNMT or ARRT-N within six months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA.
• Physical ability for frequent standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and patient handling.
• Strong attention to safety, detail, and teamwork skills.
