Job Summary and Qualifications

Minimum requirements include:

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine training program.
• At least 2 years experience as a nuclear medicine technologist in a hospital setting.
• Completion of initial and ongoing training and competencies specific to the patient population served.

Minimum Licenses, Certificates, or Registrations

• Either ARRT (R), ARRT (N), ARRT (T), or NMTCB certification.
• Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from Texas Department of Health.

Essential Job Functions

• Supervise personnel, evaluate performance, motivate and lead team meetings, foster open communication, and maintain inventory and equipment records.
• Assess work situations broadly, communicate decisions impacting other sections, analyze data, and use resources efficiently.

Additional Job Functions

• Handle radiopharmaceuticals and contrast agents as appropriate.
• Support Methodist Healthcare System’s mission and demonstrate excellent customer service.
• Adhere to safety policies, report unsafe conditions, and comply with safety features and codes of conduct.
• Complete other duties as assigned, maintain BCLS certification, and hold required certifications.
