Our partnership with Duke LifePoint Healthcare aims to transform healthcare in Rutherford County by combining Duke University Health System's clinical excellence with LifePoint Health's extensive resources and experience in community hospital management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications as per physician orders.
• Perform diagnostic studies, process data, and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology.
• Provide images, data analysis, and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures.
• Evaluate image quality and calibrate instrumentation accordingly.
• Process images for radiologist review and ensure proper documentation.
• Assess patient condition, ensuring safety through proper use of restraints/support devices.
• Review examinations for technical accuracy, present completed exams, and communicate pertinent data to caregiving staff.
• Coordinate Nuclear Medicine examinations to ensure quality and continuity of care, assisting with workflow management in the absence of the supervisor or team leader.
• Accurately document patient information in the computer system, including full name, medical record number, date of birth, and examinations performed.
• Perform all necessary computer operations to ensure proper documentation and billing.

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS required; NMTCB or ARRT certification preferred.
• Skills: Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work independently, and stress management.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of clerical duties.
