Job summary

Piedmont Walton Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in a patient-centered environment. The role follows established protocols and QA procedures to ensure safety and accuracy.

The position requires graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program with BCLS, CNMT and NMTCB certifications to be obtained upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• Certification requirements (BCLS/CNMT/NMTCB) must be obtained upon hire.
• No prior work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures per protocols and guidelines.
• Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs. Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Required
