Job summary

UF Health in Saint Augustine, FL, seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a full spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. You will work with technologists, supervisor and medical director to maximize patient throughput in a teaching center environment.

Required: NMTCB certification and/or ARRT(N), Florida licensure, CPR. A graduate from an approved nuclear medicine program with less than one year of experience is typical; one to two years' experience preferred.

Overview

Perform a full spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. Work with fellow staff technologists, supervisor and medical director to maximize patient throughput in a trauma one medial center teaching environment.

Qualifications

Age of Patients Served:All Age GroupsRequired Education:Associate's degree; Graduate of an approved nuclear medicine training program.

Necessary Skills:1. Have the mathematical skills to properly calculate doses and apply routine nuclear medicine formulas as needed.2. Work with fellow technologist and professional staff to maximize patient workload.

Required Licensure/Certifications:- Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and/or registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(N)),- Licensed by the State of Florida as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist,- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR)

Required Experience:Less than one year - Graduate from an approved nuclear medicine program.

Preferred Experience:One to two years experience preferred.
