Job summary

UF Health in Saint Augustine, FL seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a full spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. You will work with fellow technologists, a supervisor and the medical director to maximize patient throughput in a trauma one teaching center.

The role requires an Associate's degree, completed nuclear medicine training, NMTCB and/or ARRT(N) certification, Florida licensure and current CPR; less than one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or graduate of approved nuclear medicine training program
• NMTCB certification and/or ARRT(N) registration
• Florida licensure as Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers (BLS)

Qualifications

Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups

Required Education: Associate's degree; Graduate of an approved nuclear medicine training program.

Necessary Skills:

• Have the mathematical skills to properly calculate doses and apply routine nuclear medicine formulas as needed.
• Work with fellow technologist and professional staff to maximize patient workload.

Required Licensure/Certifications:

• Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and/or registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(N))
• Licensed by the State of Florida as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR)

Required Experience: Less than one year

• Graduate from an approved nuclear medicine program.

Preferred Experience: One to two years experience preferred.
