Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc. (BPMI) is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Schenectady, NY to support naval propulsion programs and perform routine technical functions in evaluating, designing, modeling, and testing components and systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering from an accredited college or university.
GPA of 3.0 for newer college graduates.
Requires a security clearance; U.S. citizenship is a requirement for clearance.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy security clearance.

Responsibilities

Assist with engineering responsibilities supporting fleet, field, technology, analysis, manufacturing, facilities, testing, and operations activities.
Assist in study, design, analyses, and preparation of specifications for systems, materials, equipment or components.
Prepare project plans to accomplish assigned work and measure performance.
