Job summary

Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc. (BPMI) is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer to perform a range of engineering tasks related to analysis, design, and evaluation of structural components and systems.

You will ensure compliance with program and safety standards and generate technical reports for internal reviews. The role involves collaborating with multiple teams, developing project plans, and supporting field operations while maintaining regulatory alignment and performance targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural, Civil, Mechanical, or Nuclear Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 8 years of completed education and/or relevant experience.
• Requires a security clearance; ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated engineering responsibilities across fleet, field, technology, analysis, manufacturing, facilities and operations.
• Execute design, application, analysis, and testing tasks for components and systems in focus area.
• Draft project plans to organize and accomplish the assigned work to meet goals and timelines.
• Support other engineers by performing analyses, preparing reports, and assisting in technical specifications and design reviews.
• Compile engineering data and assist in developing technical manuals, reports, and procedures per NR program quality standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and suppliers to ensure design accuracy and monitor performance.
