Job summary

Tennessee Valley Authority is seeking a Mechanical Engineer, Design B (NPG) for the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant in Decatur, AL. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or another related engineering degree from an accredited curriculum.
• Licensed Professional Engineer desirable.
• Must be able to obtain nuclear plant access and medical qualifications where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates mechanical engineering work within a major project or a project of moderate scope.
• Provides procurement, field engineering including walkdowns, modifications/maintenance, and testing support.
