Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. is hiring for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician in the Montgomery County area. The role focuses on installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment such as packing pumps, valves, and piping with strict safety and quality standards.

You will support higher classification mechanics, disassemble/assemble equipment, and perform buildings/equipment maintenance, with training available for certified trades and crane operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or educational equivalent.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing.
• Ability to work different shifts.
• Ability to receive unescorted Nuclear access.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and organizational skills.
• And ONE of the following: Associates degree in a technical field OR Three years minimum related Mechanical military experience OR Three years minimum Mechanical Industrial Craft Maintenance experience that includes completing a bona fide trades training program OR Five years of Mechanical Industrial Craft Maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist mechanics of higher classification by performing such work as disassembling and assembling equipment, rolling and expanding tubes, repairing, and resealing valves.
• Maintenance and repair work on buildings and equipment.
