Job summary

Talen Energy is seeking an Electrical Discipline Scheduler to develop and optimize detailed schedules for maintenance at a nuclear facility. You will coordinate with Work Management, Planning, Operations, Engineering, and Radiation Protection to ensure regulatory compliance and efficient execution.

The role requires 5+ years in nuclear operations or related scheduling, proficiency with scheduling tools, and the ability to manage complex work scopes while prioritizing safety and ALARA

Qualifications

• Must have experience with scheduling in a nuclear power plant or equivalent industrial setting.
• Strong ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and maintain schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed schedules for maintenance activities across units.
• Coordinate with Cycle Managers to maintain a 2-year cycle schedule.
• Prepare, review and optimize target week schedules and resource requirements.
• Attend weekly review meetings and provide input for process improvements.
