Job summary

Jobot is hiring a Nuclear Licensing Manager in Janesville, WI, offering a remote/hybrid schedule and a permanent full-time role with a $160,000–$200,000 annual salary. The candidate will lead licensing and regulatory compliance for a growing fusion-based technology company.

Requirements include 5+ years in nuclear regulatory affairs or related fields, strong knowledge of 10 CFR Part 50, and excellent communication with regulators and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in engineering, science, or related field (or equivalent: Senior Reactor Operator license or Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program experience).
• 5+ years nuclear experience in regulatory affairs, engineering, operations, or QA.
• Strong working knowledge of 10 CFR (especially Part 50), NRC/Agreement State licensing processes, and guidance applicable to non-power production/utilization facilities and radioactive material licenses.

Responsibilities

• Interact effectively with regulators, senior leadership, contractors, and suppliers.
• Lead licensing actions and ensure regulatory compliance across filings and audits.
• Provide clear written communications and regulatory strategy documentation.
