X Energy, LLC is seeking a Licensing Engineer to support new reactor licensing strategies and prepare regulatory submissions. You will coordinate engineering, regulatory affairs, and business teams to advance deployment of X-energy reactors globally.

You'll lead licensing activities, engage with NRC/DOE requirements, and help develop safety and environmental licensing practices for first‑of‑kind technology. This role offers growth and exposure to high‑impact projects.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Understanding of nuclear reactor design and operation.
• Project management experience including scheduling and budgets.
• Ability to lead teams and work collaboratively.

Responsabilidades

• Support licensing activities for reactor certifications, permits, and licenses.
• Ensure compliance with NRC regulations and guidance.
• Participate in and present at public meetings, regulatory audits, and proposals.
• Research and develop strategies to address novel safety, environmental, and licensing challenges.
• Analyze policy, legislation, and regulations.
• Develop guidance, processes, and templates to improve licensing strategies for environmental and safety issues.
• Work as part of a team to deliver timely and high‑quality licensing products.
• Effectively communicate complex regulatory positions.
• Support planning and executing the X-energy business and licensing strategy.
• Participate in nuclear industry working groups.
