Idaho National Laboratory (INL) invites applications for the MFC Engineering Technology & Operations Intern - Summer 2027 at the Materials and Fuels Complex in Idaho Falls. The intern will support operational, maintenance, and research activities in a nuclear environment, collaborating with technicians, engineers, and researchers on facility operations, inspections, data collection, and equipment support.

The internship runs on a 4x10 schedule on-site.

Qualifications

• Enrolled full-time in an associate degree or Technical Certificate in Nuclear Technology, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Process Operations, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Minimum overall 3.0 GPA.
• Current Resume or CV.
• Unofficial Transcripts (include current and completed degree programs).
• Current class schedule and number of credits.
• Export control: US citizen or US Green Card holder required.

Responsabilités

• Support operational, maintenance, and research activities at Idaho National Laboratory's Materials and Fuels Complex (MFC).
• Assist with facility operations, equipment inspections, data collection, and research support.
• Work with technicians, operators, engineers, and researchers in a regulated nuclear environment.
