Job summary

Southern Nuclear in Alabama seeks an Inventory Strategist at Plant Farley to oversee inventory control and materials management in support of nuclear operations, ensuring stock is available at the best value while balancing risk and investment.

You will collaborate with site supervisors, buyers, contracts agents, engineering, and maintenance to optimize Maximo data, forecasting, and inventory parameters, while upholding safety, compliance, and service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience in a Supply Chain role required.
• Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills to evaluate inventory parameters and daily inventory transactions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with SCM procedures and goals.
• Travel up to 15% of the time requiring overnight and out of town stay.
• Partner with Buyers/Contracts Agents to provide materials/services and warehouse liaison support.
• Ensure departmental compliance with all policies and guidelines.
• Interface with work management processes of daily operations and outages as applicable.
• Serve as on-call duty rotation for Supply Chain fleet.
• Interface with supervisors and inventory strategists to identify critical stock items and ensure Maximo data integrity.
