Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Columbia, SC is seeking a Fuel Program Manager to be the primary liaison between customers and internal teams for nuclear fuel contracts from order to delivery. Responsibilities

• Be the primary customer-facing representative for contract-related communications.
• Lead fuel delivery execution, coordinating teams to resolve issues and ensure on-time delivery.
• Develop billing plans and forecasts to support revenue recognition and EBITDA targets.
• Maintain financial, demand planning, and business systems for accurate reporting.
• Monitor customer performance metrics and provide regular updates to management.
• Maintain understanding of customer contracts, fuel products, and work scopes.
• Prepare and manage Job Order Documents for reload projects.
• Support proposal development, contract negotiations, and commercial strategy.
• Coordinate engineering resources and resolve technical challenges affecting commitments.
• Use SAP, ENOVIA, EDMS to support contract execution.
• Foster relationships with customers and partners to drive collaboration and satisfaction.

About the role:

As a Fuel Program Manager, you will be the primary contact between our customers and other teams, ensuring the successful execution of nuclear fuel contracts from order placement through delivery. You will balance technical, commercial, and operational priorities to meet customer requirements, maximize contract value, and help achieve our goals. You combine engineering knowledge with commercial awareness, excels at customer relationship management, and coordinates across teams.

You will report to the Senior Fuel Portfolio Manager and follow a hybrid work schedule based in Columbia, SC.

Responsibilities:

• Manage nuclear fuel contracts to ensure customer technical, quality, and delivery requirements are achieved while optimizing contract performance and value.
• Be the primary customer-facing representative for all contract-related technical and commercial communications.
• Lead fuel delivery execution activities, coordinating teams to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and ensure on-time delivery commitments.
• Develop accurate billing plans and forecasts to support revenue recognition, EBITDA targets, and overall financial performance.
• Maintain financial, demand planning, and business management systems to ensure accurate operational and commercial reporting.
• Monitor customer performance metrics and scorecards, providing regular updates to management.
• Maintain an understanding of customer contracts, fuel products, services, and associated work scopes.
• Prepare and manage Job Order Documents for fuel reload projects, ensuring customer requirements are clearly communicated across the organization.
• Support proposal development, contract negotiations, and commercial strategy programs.
• Coordinate engineering resources and facilitate resolution of technical challenges affecting customer commitments.
• Use business systems including SAP, ENOVIA, EDMS, and related tools to support contract execution and departmental goals.
• Foster relationships with customers and company partners to lead collaboration, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in program management, project management, engineering, commercial operations, or a related field.
• Customer-focused mindset with experience building and maintaining professional relationships.

Beneficial:

• Experience in the nuclear industry or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of nuclear fuel manufacturing, reload engineering, fuel products and services, commercial operations, and financial planning processes.
• Prior experience in customer-facing, contract management, program management, or account management roles.
• Experience using SAP, ENOVIA, EDMS, or related enterprise systems.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $103,200 to $129,000 per year.
