Framatome is seeking an Engineer III in the Fuel Design Engineering group in Lynchburg, VA. The role focuses on static and dynamic analysis of fuel assemblies to ensure coolable geometries and insertability under normal and abnormal conditions, supporting plant safety and performance.

Responsibilities include performing seismic, LOCA, buckling, and flow-induced vibration analyses, plus applying advanced techniques with minimal supervision to support design changes and plant operation integrity.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics (related fields may be accepted).
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of engineering standards and criteria.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Problem identification and resolution skills with a questioning attitude.
• Advanced proficiency with specialized software tools and programming languages as required.
