Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Field Services Tooling Engineer in our Reactor Services Tooling and Technology Field Service group, based at the Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA. You will provide engineering knowledge and support to develop, maintain and deliver tooling for nuclear reactors.

You will report to the Manager of Reactor Services Tooling and Technology and will be based out of our Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA.

Qualifications

• 2+ years related engineering experience.
• Knowledge of welding design.
• Knowledge of structural analysis.
• Knowledge of fabrication.
• Knowledge of the ASME / AWS codes.

Responsibilities

• Provide innovative and practical repair and maintenance solutions that ensure high quality products in accordance with our customer expectations.
• Design and develop mechanical and electrical tooling solutions including underwater fixtures and robotics.
• Interpret plant and equipment drawings and specifications for analysis.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA's) and tooling rigor for associated tooling.
• Support specific tooling projects including planning, implementing and financial reporting to the business.
• Support specific field project delivery teams in operation and maintenance of tooling at customer sites as well as maintenance facilities.
• Support and design customer solutions for field delivery issues.
• Travel 15-40% of time to both domestic and international sites.
