Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Field Service Technician II to perform reactor services at customer sites and service centers, traveling 50-70% and maintaining Unescorted Access status. Location is Chattanooga when not traveling, reporting to the BWR Resource Manager.

The role requires operating advanced service equipment, strict adherence to safety and quality standards, and collaboration with engineering and training teams to support outages and commissioning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years of related experience.
• Training in electrical, electronic, or mechanical curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot reactor services field equipment at customer sites.
• Perform service center support including maintenance, calibration, packing, shipping and decontamination.
• Review procedures and drawings and provide input for revisions.
• Support product engineering and training with equipment modifications and testing.
• Document equipment performance issues and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Complete tasks with minimal supervision following qualified procedures.
• Participate in training to maintain certifications.
• Oversee projects and small teams with predetermined goals and provide guidance.
