Job summary

X-energy is seeking a Construction Project Engineer III to lead the construction of a nuclear fuel fabrication facility. This role requires a seasoned professional with at least 5 years of experience in heavy industrial or nuclear construction, overseeing all aspects of project execution to ensure regulatory compliance and safety.

Located in Oak Ridge, TN, the position offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $130,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package including 401K, medical, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in heavy construction or nuclear engineering.
• Experience in mechanical equipment installation, process systems, piping, HVAC is preferred.
• Familiarity with nuclear facility requirements, DOE orders and NRC standards is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Interpret design drawings and translate into Construction Work Packages.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines.
• Oversee material inspection and storage.
