Job summary

WSP Global Inc. seeks a Senior Environmental/Licensing Specialist to lead NRC Environmental Reports and NEPA analyses for nuclear and other energy projects.

The role requires coordinating multidisciplinary teams, guiding technical studies, and ensuring regulatory compliance with NRC guidance and NEPA requirements. You will mentor staff, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and pursue new project opportunities within nuclear and related markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental/biological science or related field.
• 12+ years NEPA/EA experience for energy or nuclear projects, including proposal leadership and client-facing delivery.
• Experience preparing or managing NRC Environmental Reports (ER) and nuclear licensing reviews.
• Strong technical writing, facilitation, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to synthesize diverse inputs into clear, defensible documents for public review.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage projects to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Experience developing winning proposals and growing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead NRC ERs and NEPA documents (EAs, EISs) for nuclear and energy projects.
• Define and oversee environmental field and technical studies and integrate results into deliverables.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver defensible analyses across resource areas.
• Direct and deliver NEPA studies in coordination with teams, managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Provide regulatory compliance oversight for submittals to clients and agencies.
• Contribute to client relationship management and business development activities.
