Job summary

Constellation seeks an experienced Environmental professional to support regulatory compliance across multiple nuclear environmental programs at sites in Maryland. The role includes serving as a subject matter expert, interacting with regulators, and guiding environmental training for site personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Biology; Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Geology or related program/equivalent with 6 years of experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience presenting issues and advocating positions
• Demonstrated knowledge of multi-media Federal and State Environmental statutes and regulations
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance in assigned environmental programs and regulatory support for environmental programs
• Represent the site during environmental audits conducted by internal and external organizations
• Respond to emergent environmental issues in collaboration with Site and fleet teams
• Manage environmental projects including scope, proposals, funding, timelines, budget and deliverables
• Serve as technical expert in meetings with regulatory agencies, engineering consultants, and legal teams
• Review and interpret new and existing environmental regulations; update procedures accordingly
• Support evaluation of new technology, processes, and programs and recommend actions for Constellation Nuclear operations
• Perform other duties including emergency response, outage support, and department coverage

Education

Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Biology; Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Geology or related program/equivalent
