Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Engineering Project Manager for Oak Ridge, TN to lead complex nuclear infrastructure projects. You will plan, direct, and coordinate engineering activities, ensuring on-time delivery, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating multi-disciplinary design efforts, managing stakeholders, and maintaining rigorous controls over scope, schedule, and cost while supporting national security and energy missions.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels (internal and client).
• BS in Engineering from ABET-accredited program or BA in Architecture from NAAB-accredited program.
• Experience managing multi-discipline design projects with scope, schedule and budget responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate engineering for assigned design projects within nuclear operations.
• Lead cross-functional teams to meet client goals on time and within funding parameters.
• Engage stakeholders across DOE, NNSA, and commercial clients while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
