EDF Energy is offering a Nuclear Engineering Industrial Placement on electrical, mechanical, and control & instrumentation systems at Torness Power Station in Scotland. This 12‑month program provides hands‑on experience, customised training, and mentorship from skilled professionals to help you build a career in the nuclear sector.

Qualificações

• Eligible candidates should be on track to achieve or have achieved a 2:2 undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Control & Instrumentation.
• Must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship may be possible but priority to those with the right to work in the UK.
• Security Vetting criteria require residency in the UK for at least three of the past five years.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in shaping equipment reliability of a plant area and learn engineering and safety case principles for a Nuclear Power Plant.
• Gain hands-on experience in team working, problem solving and using human performance tools.
• Support plant operations and explore other areas of interest within EDF Energy.
