Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking a nuclear engineering leader to manage engineering personnel supporting operation and maintenance of the company\'s nuclear stations. You will drive staff performance through evaluations, coaching, and clear work assignments.

You will oversee equipment reliability programs, budgets, and interface with INPO/NRC/EPRI for standards, while developing bench-strength and ensuring timely response to emergent issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Eight years related experience including two years of supervisory experience.
• Five years of nuclear experience preferred.
• Professional engineering certification preferred.
• SRO license or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide site leadership for equipment reliability and engineering issues.
• Lead engineering staff, evaluate performance, and drive improvement.
• Interface with management to support day-to-day plant operations and maintenance.
• Oversee ER and Engineering programs and budgets.
