Job summary

Antares in Torrance, CA invites you to join our Nuclear Engineering Internship, where you will work on reactor design and validation of computational physics tools. You will join a cohort for summer 2024, contributing to hands-on projects in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

As an intern, you will touch hardware, software, manufacturing support, or systems development, collaborating with engineers and operators to deliver real impact and gain hands-on experience within a leading energy

Qualifications

• Enrolled in at least a bachelor’s degree program, going into Junior or Senior year.
• 6+ months experience of technical engineering skills outside the university setting (labs, research, clubs, internships).
• GPA 3.5+ is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive reactor design work by performing nuclear engineering analyses that inform design decisions.
• Develop and validate computational physics capabilities used to analyze and evaluate reactor designs.
