Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking a Nuclear intern for Summer 2027 in the Reactor Engineering group at Millstone Power Station, Waterford CT. You will assist in data acquisition, performance analyses, and development of technical products under experienced engineers.

Applicants must be pursuing a BS in Nuclear Engineering (ABET-accredited) with a 3.0 GPA and an anticipated graduation in Fall 2028–Fall 2029. Internship includes mentorship, field exposure, and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Nuclear Engineering with ABET accreditation.
• Graduation expected Fall 2028 to Fall 2029.
• GPA minimum 3.0 required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Reactor Engineering with data acquisition and analysis for surveillances.
• Support ranking cycle thermal performance analyses.
• Trend reactor performance and monitor primary system parameters.
• Conduct periodic walkdowns of primary systems and compile findings.
• Develop Reactor Engineering technical documents and products.
