Naval Nuclear Laboratory in Idaho Falls, ID is seeking an Electrical Inspector Technician to ensure safety, quality and performance of components for the U.S. Navy's nuclear propulsion program.

The role includes attaining qualification as a Nuclear Inspector, performing inspections, dimensional measurements, non-destructive testing, and radiological qualification as a Radiation Worker. Candidates must have NEC Journeyman Electrician qualification and a high school diploma, with preferred QC

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Currently holds NEC Journeyman Electrician qualification.
• Able to meet physical requirements with reasonable accommodations.
• Able to qualify as a Radiological Contamination Worker.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nuclear inspections, dimensional measurements, nondestructive testing and related quality checks.
• Perform surveillance and audits of material control and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance.
• Maintain radiological qualification as Radiation Worker/Contamination Worker.
