Job summary

Design Hire LLC is seeking experienced Designers and Drafters for commercial nuclear design openings. You will prepare and revise drawings, layouts, details and design documentation for regulated nuclear projects.

Work from markups, specifications, field information and existing plant drawings; support modifications and construction documentation; coordinate with engineers and ensure revision control and quality throughout the design process.

Qualifications

• Recent commercial nuclear design or drafting experience required.
• Experience in one or more disciplines: structural, electrical, mechanical, or piping design.
• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience required.
• Electrical candidates should have experience with wiring diagrams, schematics, raceway layouts, or related electrical design documentation.
• Structural candidates should have experience with foundations, structures, equipment supports, or related structural details.
• Mechanical / piping candidates should have experience with P&IDs, piping layouts, pumps, motors, or related mechanical system drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering markups, specifications, and plant documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and ability to work in a quality-driven design environment.
