Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. seeks engineering interns for 2027 to work in person at our Nuclear location in Morris, IL. These paid internships run about 10 weeks from June 7 to August 13, 2027.

Interns work under supervision with a technical mentor on real-world projects in nuclear engineering. Projects include cooling tower inspections, core analysis, feedwater pump wiring, seismic upgrades, and more. Requires enrollment in Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Civil, or Chemical Engineering with GPA

Qualifications

Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's engineering program for Fall 2027.
Minimum GPA: 2.8 cumulative and 3.0 major.
Track record of outstanding academic performance.
Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to work creatively and analytically in problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Assist on projects such as Cooling Tower Drone Inspections.
Support Nuclear Core Analysis tasks.
Contribute to Control Circuit Wiring Design for Feedwater Pump.
Assist Thermal Overload Calculations for Motor Operated Valves.
Support Seismic Monitoring Instrumentation Upgrades.
Help with Weld Overlays Calculations on Feedwater Heater.
Contribute to Hydrogen Electrolyzer Project.
