Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. is seeking highly motivated engineering students for Engineering Internships for 2027 to work in person at our Nuclear location in Braceville, IL. These paid internships will last approximately 10 weeks starting June 7th, 2027 through August 13th, 2027.

Interns will work on specific projects under supervision and a technical mentor. Historically, intern projects include cooling tower inspections, core analysis, control wiring design, thermal overload calculations,

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Engineering program for Fall 2027.
  • Minimum GPA: 2.8 overall and 3.0 in major.
  • Track record of outstanding academic performance.
  • Eagerness to contribute in a team environment.
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Cooling Tower Drone Inspections project involvement.
  • Nuclear Core Analysis assignments.
  • Control Circuit Wiring Design for Feedwater Pump tasks.
  • Thermal Overload calculations for Motor Operated Valves.
  • Seismic Monitoring Instrumentation upgrades.
  • Weld overlays calculations on Feedwater Heater.
  • Hydrogen Electrolyzer project involvement.
