Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Student, Intern in Design Engineering in Jackson, MS, onsite. The role supports design basis maintenance, modification design, and technical services to operations and maintenance teams within Entergy Nuclear.

Active enrollment in Civil Engineering (BS) with a minimum 2.8 GPA is required; anticipated graduation December 2028. This internship includes site outage support and requires ability to travel up to 25% if needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a minimum GPA of 2.8.
• Anticipated graduation December 2028 or sooner.
• Active enrollment and pursuit of degree required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining the design basis for each site and support licensing basis.
• Assist in providing cost-effective modification designs to improve plant performance.
• Provide technical support to operations, maintenance, engineering and site organizations.
• Support safe, reliable operation by addressing issues via corrective action and work management processes.
• Assist in developing engineering products per defined standards and procedures.
• Serve on outage engineering support teams and maintain qualifications necessary to perform required group functions.
