Overview
Vallum is working in collaboration with a Joint Venture on the Decommissioning of a Nuclear Power Plant in the state of Pennsylvania. Estimated for completion in 2052, this is a long-term program of works, and they are hiring for a Demolition Superintendent.
Base pay range
$120,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage demolition activities for heavy commercial and industrial projects in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Oversee conventional machine demolition, selective building/component/equipment demolition, and demolition by cutting using both hot work and non-hot work methods.
- Coordinate demolition utilizing cranes and rigging, implosion demolition, and material processing/preparing/recycling/waste disposal of all demolition materials.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of Demolition Superintendent experience on heavy commercial and industrial demolition projects.
- Experience with all aspects of demolition including supervised use of heavy equipment, cut-and-demo methods, crane operations, rigging, and waste management.
Working arrangement
This role works a 4 day working week, Monday to Thursday with relocation support in the form of a stipend for the first 12 months of employment or a one-off lump sum.
