Job summary

APTIM is seeking an experienced Work Planner with DOE/Nuclear and Radiological Controls experience to support nuclear Decommissioning and Dismantlement field operations.

The role requires knowledge of work planning procedures for nuclear facilities, preferably in a DOE nuclear facility environment, and familiarity with Integrated Safety Management. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• DOE/Nuclear work planning experience required.
• Experience with radiological controls preferred.
• Experience in a DOE nuclear facility environment preferred.
• Familiar with Integrated Safety Management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule decommissioning work activities for the project.
• Plan all aspects of the job to ensure specifications, availability of trades, materials, and cost-effective execution within budget and schedule.
• Develop and/or review work packages with time, material, and labor estimates and safety/testing requirements.
• Planning duties may involve mechanical, electrical, structural, and radiological equipment and resolving work restraints.
