Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Reactor Core Thermal Hydraulic Engineer I in Cranberry Township, PA. The role centers on training in standard analyses and qualifying in Reactor Core Thermal Hydraulic Design, reporting to the Manager - Fuel Performance and Hydraulic Design in a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities include performing design analyses for US and international clients, developing independence, supporting emergencies, and ensuring safe plant operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nuclear or mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• 0+ years engineering experience.
• EIT certification completed or in process.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard Reactor Core Thermal Hydraulic Design analyses for US and international customers.
• Develop skills to take on more independent assignments and verify analyses.
• Support emergent issues and interface with customers and internal teams to ensure safe plant operation.
• Plan and schedule own work to meet assignment requirements within schedule and budget.
• Participate on project teams and communicate status to project managers and technical leads.
• Identify and recommend improvements in processes and tools.
