Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead sponsored product initiatives from concept through launch in a highly regulated environment. The role oversees cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Legal to ensure alignment and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 4–8 years in regulated medical or pharmaceutical settings, strong communication and data-driven decision making, and experience with Agile/Scrum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (scientific or technical) or equivalent experience.
• 4-8 years of experience in regulated medical/pharmaceutical environments.
• 2-4 years of project management with on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with project management tools and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Leads planning, execution, and delivery of multiple sponsored product projects from conception through launch and post-launch analysis.
• Serves as liaison between internal teams and external sponsors, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Collaborates to define scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics aligned with strategy and revenue.
• Develops and manages detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, mitigating risks.
• Facilitates cross-functional collaboration and accountability for contributions.
• Identifies opportunities to optimize PM processes and tools.
• Tracks progress, reports milestones, and conducts post-mortems to capture lessons learned.
• Ensures deliverables meet high-quality standards and brand/technical specs.
