Qualifications

• High school diploma or recognized equivalent.
• 3–5 years of machinist experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Operational proficiency in CNC machining.
• Knowledge of CNC G-code programming and machine operations.
• 3+ years of experience with tooling, fixtures, machine setup, and process optimization.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.
• Working knowledge of 5S principles and lean manufacturing practices.
• Commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Machine precision components meeting nuclear quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Operate a variety of metal-removing and metal-forming machines.
• Set up machine tools, components, and castings per drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and instructions per PP-09-01.
• Select and use measuring instruments, fixtures, and tooling; fabricate tooling.
• Perform in-process inspections and verify quality and dimensional standards.
• Troubleshoot machining operations and modify programs when qualified.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace following 5S and safety procedures.
