Job summary

Enercon is seeking a Civil Structural Engineering Manager to lead a technical civil/structural team in support of nuclear design across the NSG. The role focuses on mentorship, project leadership, and ensuring quality design delivery for modifications, seismic qualifications, and support systems.

The successful candidate will oversee unit performance, engage with Directors and PMs, and build client relationships while advancing technical solutions in a growing energy sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
• PE license required
• Advanced knowledge of applicable codes and standards
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time and ability to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear power plant

Responsibilities

• Lead unit leadership and management, assign work, review timesheets and performance appraisals
• Maintain quality standards and certify design documents per state and local codes
• Manage projects, budgets, schedules, and client relations; approve engineering documents
• Coach staff, promote professional development and licensing
• Support staffing plans and administrative functions
