Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Civil - Staff Engineering Technician to support Nuclear Power projects in a hybrid environment. You will develop site plans, modify technical deliverables, and apply engineering principles using CAD/BIM tools.

Minimum qualifications include a diploma or certificate in a drafting/engineering design field and 5+ years of related work. The role offers hybrid work options and a path toward advanced design responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate required; relevant degree preferred.
• Experience with design documentation and project deliverables.
• Familiarity with codes and BV procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supports project engineering and design teams by creating and modifying deliverables.
• Develops site development plans using CAD/BIM tools.
• Performs basic engineering calculations and quantity estimates.
• Reviews inputs to ensure compliance with codes and BV standards.
• Coordinates with design staff to exchange project information.
