Job summary

An academic health system located in California is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to maintain a safe and efficient nuclear medicine department using radioactive isotopes for enhanced diagnostic imaging. The candidate must be registered under the American Registry of Nuclear Medicine Technology, possess CPR certification, and demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills. Your Role on the Team

Under the general direction of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist is directly responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient nuclear medicine department using radioactive isotopes for enhanced diagnostic imaging. He/she is responsible for performing all nuclear medicine procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
• Registered and licensed by the American Registry of Nuclear Medicine Technology and the State of California.
• CPR Certification Required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
• 2 years progressively more responsible experience nuclear medicine related program/job.
