UCI Health, the clinical enterprise of the University of California, Irvine, seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to maintain a safe and efficient nuclear medicine department and perform all nuclear medicine procedures. The role requires ARRT and California licensure, CPR certification, and strong communication skills.

The position emphasizes safe handling of radioactive isotopes for enhanced diagnostic imaging, collaboration across the health system, and adherence to employment and vaccination

Your Role on the Team

Position Summary: Under the general direction of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist is directly responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient nuclear medicine department using radioactive isotopes for enhanced diagnostic imaging. He/she is responsible for performing all nuclear medicine procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
• Registered and licensed by the American Registry of Nuclear Medicine Technology and the State of California.
• CPR Certification Required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
• 2 years progressively more responsible experience nuclear medicine related program/job.
