Rutgers University-New Brunswick, Division of Life Sciences, Piscataway/New Brunswick campus, has an opening for a non-tenure track CY Associate Teaching Professor. The Teaching Professor will serve as the Director of Introductory Biology Programs with responsibility for overseeing our large General Biology courses along with the Prep for General Biology and the Bio Practice Group courses.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large General Biology courses and Prep for General Biology and Bio Practice Group courses.
• Guide curricular development with faculty teaching in introductory courses.
• Supervise administrative staff and manage course budgets.
• Review the course schedule and coordinate assessment.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and partners in undergraduate instruction.
• Teach two courses in fall and spring and have summer teaching responsibilities.

Posting Summary

The Division of Life Sciences, Rutgers, The State University, Piscataway/New Brunswick campus, has an opening for non-tenure track CY Associate Teaching Professor. The Teaching Professor will serve as the Director of Introductory Biology Programs with responsibility for overseeing our large General Biology courses along with the Prep for General Biology and the Bio Practice Group courses.
