Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Tubular Products-Gallatin is seeking applicants for Maintenance Supervisor Position(s). The Maintenance Supervisor is primarily responsible for leading and developing team members, while focusing on a strategy and vision that aligns with division, group, and enterprise goals. This includes setting expectations that ensure safe operations and efficient flow of our production floor, managing costs, educating the team on business dynamics, preparing proposals and justifications for projects, and driving personal development for each teammate. The successful candidate will be an integral member of the Leadership team and will strategically continue to develop a team of maintenance professionals that will support all facets of equipment reliability. In addition to maintaining a successful team, a primary responsibility is to lead and develop our maintenanceteam and foster a culture that places safety above all else while aligning with our mission to Grow the Core, Expand Beyond and Live the Culture. The Maintenance team will support the production process through equipment reliability and continuous improvement.They must drive our safety culture and be willing to take responsibility for self and others by setting an example for others to follow. Supervisors are also expected to work collaboratively to assure the best interests of Nucor Tubular Group are met while guiding the team to success in terms of safety and personal development.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

Two (2) years of tube mill experience.

Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including scheduled and unscheduled overtime, rotating shifts, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

Two (2) years of leadership experience in a tube mill environment.

Experience in Multi-craft Maintenance, Automation and/or Electrical Engineering.
