Job summary

DSV is seeking a traveling supervisor in Clarksville, TN who will oversee production associates responsible for loading/unloading freight and assembling server racks and components. This role requires traveling more than 50% of the time to other sites.

You will supervise cycle counts, inventory replenishments and material returns, ensure safety, advise teams, and seek workflow improvements to boost efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Generally prefer 3–6 years’ experience in material handling operations.
• Must be able to pass any federal/state/local background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests.

Job Summary

Working Environment

Assignment complexity: Utilization of multiple internal and external systems and dashboards to ensure process compliance and accuracy.

Accountability: Maintain service level agreements utilizing existing systems and tools and ensure subordinates follow safety protocol and standards.

Impact of Decisions: Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve goals could result in additional costs and personnel, and serious delays in overall schedules.

Working Relationships: Frequently interact with customers, peers and other site stakeholders on site in addition to subordinates.

Essential Functions

Knowledge and Skills

This is an entry‑level leadership role. Solid interpersonal and analytical skills are required. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required. Generally prefer 3‑6 years’ experience in material handling operations.
