Job summary

NTB / Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in Fuquay-Varina, NC is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers. You will use the latest alignment equipment to set caster, camber, toe and thrust angles and help ensure vehicles travel straight and true.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of tire mounting/balancing experience or equivalent training.
• Able to stand, lift heavy parts and perform repetitive tire maintenance tasks.
• Ability to obtain a state inspection license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Align tires and wheels using wheel alignment equipment.
• Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles.
• Perform state-mandated inspections, oil changes and tire repairs.
• Assist customers and perform related automotive service as needed.

We're looking for a full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Fuquay-Varina, NC area. About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician

• Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles.
• By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customer's tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true.
• Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs.
• Perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

Qualifications

• be at least 18 years of age
• be legally authorized to work in the United States
• possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
• In addition, it is preferred that Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license.

• stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair
• lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds
