Mavis Tire is hiring an Automotive Alignment Technician in the Henrico, VA area. This full-time role involves aligning tires and wheels using precise equipment and performing related maintenance tasks to ensure safe, straight travel for customers’ vehicles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of tire mounting/rotation/balancing experience or equivalent training.
• Preferred state inspection license.
• Must be able to perform physical movements and lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Align tires using equipment to adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Perform state inspections, oil and filter changes, and flat repairs as needed.
• Provide tire maintenance and repair services to customers' vehicles.

We're looking for a full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Henrico, VA area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician

Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customer's tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

Qualifications

• be at least 18 years of age
• be legally authorized to work in the United States
• possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
• preferred: possess a state inspection license
• required: stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair
• required: regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds
