Pratt & Whitney in Tucson, AZ is seeking a senior financial analyst to lead oversight of capacity expansion programs, involving cost-type, fixed-price contracts, BCAs and CAEX. The role collaborates across PM, Contracts, Engineering and Supply Chain to align financial objectives and EVMS/EAC reporting.

The ideal candidate has a finance or related degree with 7–10+ years of experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to obtain a US government security clearance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or related field, with 10+ years experience.
  • Advanced degree in related field with 7+ years experience.
  • Experience with EVMS, program controls, and EACs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial oversight of capacity expansion contracts (cost-type, fixed-price, BCAs, CAEX).
  • Ensure compliance with Estimates at Complete (EACs) and earned value.
  • Provide quantitative analysis to support business, program and project decisions.

What You Will Do

You will be accountable for financial oversight of a variety of capacity expansion efforts with contracts spanning cost type, fixed price, BCAs, and CAEX. This position requires proactive leadership and significant interaction with the Program Managers, Contracts, Engineering, Supply Chain, and others, to ensure alignment regarding strategic, operating, and financial objectives. You will ensure compliance with required Estimates at Complete (EACs) and contractual earned value.

Top candidates will raise the performance levels of their team and provide the organizations they support with timely and thorough quantitative analysis that supports business, program, and project decision making.

Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or
  • An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
  • Experience with EVMS (Earned Value Management), Program Controls and Estimates at Complete (EACs).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Salary & Compensation

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
