Job summary

Johnson C. Smith University is seeking a highly organized Program Manager to support the NSF Award 2606101: Implementation Project: JCSU Bullprint Program.

This grant-funded role requires coordinating activities, timelines, and data collection across departments, with emphasis on meeting milestones and NSF reporting. Reporting to the PI, you will manage calendars, trainings, and communications, ensuring project records are complete and compliant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Three years of progressively responsible professional experience in program coordination, project management, higher education administration, grants administration, student success, academic affairs, research administration, or a related area.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple projects, activities, deadlines, or stakeholders simultaneously.
• Experience collecting, organizing, tracking, and reporting data.
• Experience working in a college or university environment.
• Experience supporting federally funded grants or sponsored projects.
• Familiarity with NSF or other federal grant requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day implementation and administration of the Bullprint Program under the PI.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive project implementation calendar with activities, milestones, deliverables, reporting deadlines, and meetings.
• Track progress toward objectives, milestones, and deliverables; provide regular status updates to project leadership.
• Coordinate meetings, faculty activities, student activities, workshops, and other grant-supported events.
• Prepare agendas, materials, implementation updates, action-item logs, and follow-up documentation.
• Identify issues or barriers to milestones and elevate them with recommendations to the PI.
• Coordinate across University departments to facilitate timely execution of activities.
• Maintain auditable project records including documentation, participation records, and deliverables.
• Organize data collection, maintenance, verification, and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data.
• Maintain project-level data files and tracking systems for participation, outputs, milestones, and outcomes.
• Develop dashboards, summaries, and progress reports for leadership.
• Support data requests for evaluation activities and NSF reporting.
